There’s a new AIO kid in the block and it’s called the Dell Inspiron 27 7000. Sounds like a mouthful, we know, but it has some interesting tricks under its sleeve.

Usually, the words ‘VR’ and ‘AIO’ don’t go together in a sentence. But Dell is hoping to change that with its new Inspiron 27 7000 all-in-one PC. As the name already implies, it features a 27-inch panel with a 1080p panel for the base model, which can be upgraded to a 4K HDR one if you so wish.Dell Inspiron 27 7000

At the starting price of just $999, you get everything necessary for a good desktop experience. There’s an AMD Ryzen 5 14000 quad-core processor under the hood along with a Radeon RX 560 4GB. This configuration is more than enough to get you through most tasks, but if you are looking into VR very seriously then you might want to consider the next tier.

Bumping the price to $1300, things start to take shape for the better. You get an AMD Ryzen 7 1700 quad-core processor coupled with a Radeon RX 580 (8GB). If you are still looking to take things further, then you might want to upgrade to that 4K HDR option by adding a couple of hundred dollars into the mix.

This is the part that will interest everyone: the Dell Inspiron 27 7000 is completely user upgradable. Just remove the two screws from the back and you can access the motherboard. From here you have the option to upgrade the memory or the CPU, except for the GPU.
